Strength and conditioning forms an integral part of the development of all sports person be it male or female.
Strength and Conditioning is the physical and physiological development of athletes for elite sport performance.
WAY TO WORKOUT
Strength and Conditioning is about more than lifting weights.
It encompasses the entire development of the athlete and what is needed to improve physical performance.
In this area of training Strength and Conditioning professional apply scientific knowledge to train athletes for the primary goal of improving athletic performance pertaining to specific sport i.e Cricket, Football, Swimming, Athletics, Badminton etc.
Each sport requires altogether a different scientific approach in Strength and conditioning for sportsperson depending upon the sport, be it children, adolescence or adults.
Most sports require movements that are rapid and demand a higher power output than is generated during maximal lifts.
Strength training lays the foundation increasing the potential for additional power development.
If there is no conversion of this strength into sport-specific power, the athlete may not benefit from the increases in strength.
An athlete can be exceptionally strong but lack substantial power due to an inability to contract muscle quickly.
During the course of training we even prepare sport specific annual schedule to work through the phases of Off-season,
Pre-preparatory season, Preparatory Season and Competition Season related to each sport.
